At Dinan Photo we love Love, we love celebrations and new beginnings, and think our enthusiasm is reflected in your portraits.
Our style is pretty relaxed, in general we pose and direct gently. We're more interested in capturing our subjects' expressions and personality than stiff poses or clothing.

We have no remaining available dates for weddings in 2008. Getting married in '08 but like our lovey style? We can still work some love-love magic for you! Consider using our services for engagements, bridals or trash the dress sessions.
We photograph faces of all ages but love babies! We offer a one year plan for new parents, contact Melissa for more details- it's a wonderful way to commemorate your little one's first year.
Session Information, Recommendations and a Policy: We're usually booked at least a month in advance and it's advisable to plan ahead when scheduling your session date. If you're currently pregnant and are planning on using our services just call ahead and let us know your estimated due date. We always try to accommodate newborns, as we love babies! Please keep your child's best times in mind when scheduling your date.
It's best to make sure your child is well rested and fed before the session.Please remember to bring a snack and drink for your little one.
Although we do not limit clothing changes, we don't recommend more than 3 outfits as childrens' patience tends to be limited in regards to wardrobe changes.
Maternity sessions usually take place between the 7th and 8th month of pregnancy. Please feel free to bring your partner to your session!
Newborn sessions should be scheduled within the first 2 weeks of life. Newborns are understandably unpredictable and we allow ample time for photos. We prefer to photograph newborns in a diaper or blanket, so clothing considerations aren't necessary for this session. Bring special blankets and a diaper cover for this session. We often use parents in these special sessions and ask that you wear a black (or very dark) long-sleeved shirt.
Childrens sessions are usually best scheduled during the day as we've found this seems to be the best time for most little ones. Kidlets are always cute in whatever and we don't have set recommendations for clothing although it's usually best to avoid large logos, licensed characters and tennis shoes as these tend to date a portrait very quickly. We do think hats, scarves and bright funky clothing is always super cute!
Engagement sessions are scheduled either in the very early morning, before work, or in the evening around sunset. We recommend coordinating clothing rather than matching exactly. Please plan to get a bit dirty- as we'll pose you and your fiance' on the ground, in the leaves, ect.
The Policy... For our non-referral new clients first sessions we now require a non-refundable deposit totaling half your session fee to reserve your date paid by either cash, check or money order. The deposit is due within 3 business days of scheduling your session.This deposit is applied to your session fee, the other half due the day of your session. No-shows, and cancellations without at least 24 hours notice will result in the loss of the deposit. Cancellations due to weather and illness are understandable and are always refundable; just give us a call to confirm your opinion of inclement weather so we don't sit in the rain! This policy applies to non-referral new clients first sessions only.
